3.5 Kilograms of gold smuggled from Sri Lanka seized!
3.5 kg of smuggled gold worth about 2.20 crores smuggled from Sri Lanka by boat has been seized near Pampan.

A country boat suspiciously stopped near India Pampan while patrolling on information received by Central Customs Intelligence Branch officials.
3.5 kg gold bars

Later, when the boat parked in the sea was searched, it was found that there were about 3.5 kg of smuggled gold bars.
After that, the customs officials seized the boat used for smuggling and took the seized gold to the Rameswaram customs office for inspection.
